Care

The Sapphire Care promise is to listen and put our residents first. Our highly qualified carers and nurses are passionate about serving our residents and provide the latest care practices to ensure the most comfortable and fulfilling life for each resident.

Our nurses provide around-the-clock care every day of the year, ensuring that every resident is cared for just as they would like it. Our Care Plans are developed in consultation with families and the clinical health team and residents may choose their own doctor if desired.

Sapphire Care is a prominent industry leader, focusing on continuous innovation and care delivery. Every residence meets all industry and government requirements and we are recognised as one of the leading providers of Aged Care services.

Lifestyle

At Sheridan Hall, the qualified team of lifestyle therapists oversee daily programs which include a huge variety of events and entertainment.

The activities change regularly. Residents suggest their own choices at monthly meetings with the residential manager.

Through these and other activities, residents are stimulated physically and mentally. This leads to higher self-esteem and continuation of social interests within the community. Monthly newsletters are circulated via several medias to share the news, events and stories within our residential community.

Free WiFi is provided throughout Sheridan Hall for residents and all visitors, allowing everyone to be kept up to date and entertained.

Surroundings

Sheridan Hall and other Sapphire residences have been architecturally designed to ensure high service delivery in engaging surroundings. This allows residents mobility and an enjoyable, friendly lifestyle.

We have sun-filled day rooms, sitting areas, private and shared dining rooms, courtyards and private function rooms which are set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. There are BBQ facilities and entertaining areas for all families and friends to enjoy.

Sapphire Care provides single rooms with en-suite, including hydronic heating, telephone and state-of-the-art flat screen televisions. The specialist-designed electronic beds ensure optimum safety and comfort, while nursing assistance is available with the push of a button at all times.

The menu changes regularly and offers a nutritionally balanced cuisine that our residents love. Our in-house Chef and his team who prepares it believe variety is the spice of life! We have the highest standards of nutritional care and hygiene to ensure the health and wellbeing of our residents

Events

Sheridan Hall aims to provide a stimulating lifestyle both physically and mentally through our extensive wellbeing program. Activities include exercise, craft, outings, visiting speakers and supervised games. A hairdresser, manicurist and physiotherapist are also available for our residents.

Fees and Charges Guide

You will need an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment to access a Home Care Package or move into an aged care home. The ACAT assessment is free and the eligibility requirements have not changed under the reforms. However, there has been some changes to how long an ACAT approval is valid for.

Residential aged care fees and payments have changed

The new arrangements mean that your income and assets will be taken into account in establishing the fees and payments you may be asked to pay. The basic daily fee has not been affected by these new arrangements.
